Nonpartisanship
ABQPolicy does not endorse parties or candidates. Policies are evaluated on evidence, outcomes, costs, feasibility, and tradeoffs.
Evidence and opinion
Reported facts, analytical judgments, assumptions, and recommendations should be identifiable as such. Claims should link to specific sources rather than vague appeals to “research.”
Local relevance
Albuquerque and its metropolitan region remain the center of the work. State and national policy is covered when it materially affects local outcomes.
Updates
Material changes to published research receive a dated update note. Major conclusions are not silently altered.
Conflicts
Relevant financial or organizational conflicts will be disclosed. Funders and sponsors will not receive editorial control over findings.
